A generalist HR Advisor role based out of Wakefield, with hybrid working.

A leading construction business with operations throughout the UK.
Description
This HR Advisor role is initially for a period of 12-18 months, based out of offices in Wakefield. Working as part of a generalist HR team, you will work alongside other advisors to support the Yorkshire and Midlands region. Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting line managers with ER casework.
Developing line management capability though coaching, training and development.
Supporting recruitment campaigns.
Working on restructuring activities.
Assisting in the development of Engagement, Health & Wellbeing and Equality and Diversity related initiatives. Profile
The HR Advisor must be/have:
Member of CIPD or studying towards qualification or similar.
Prior experience in a generalist HR role at a similar level with a good working knowledge of employment law, codes of practice and good working practices.
Current knowledge of employment trends and developments.
A willingness to attend CPD/training events.
Be capable of supporting internal investigations and determining facts upon which decisions can be made.
Capable of identifying opportunities for improvement across the HR function.Job Offer
A competitive salary of £40-45,000 per annum, with a car allowance of £5,000 plus benefits.
