In-depth financial management expertise and a strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial practices in the Americas will be essential. Main Responsibilities: Accounting and Administrative Management Organize all company accounting and administrative operations. Supervise the finance and accounting department consisting of six employees. Measure and assess the company's accounting performance and operations. Financial Reporting and Monitoring Produce monthly account books and conduct regular analyses. Prepare monthly internal financial reports and provide monthly and occasional bank statements for financial partners. Verify quarterly reports, records, and periodic entries. Cash Management and Financial Risks Assess operational and financial risks and implement risk management strategies in all currencies. Manage financial tools such as foreign exchange contracts and letters of credit. Review and maximize working capital management based on liquid asset needs. Control and Verification Control and perform an auxiliary consolidation of account closings. Post entries and balance the general ledger and auxiliary consolidation. Supervise GST/QST management and the credit verification process. Ensure records are continuously updated for verification, similar to year-end but performed monthly for optimized decision-making. Tools and KPIs Develop and optimize measurement tools, KPIs, and provide information for decision-making. Manage the operational planning process (budget and forecasts). Miscellaneous Duties Perform any other essential duties to efficiently maintain the accounting department. Position Benefits: Full support for immigration and relocation. Requirements: University degree in Accounting (CPA designation is a plus). At least 3 years of experience as a controller, or ideally a former certified accountant. Mastery of accounting software (Accpac, Simply Accounting) and MS Office suite. Excellent understanding of financial statements and the ability to manage debits and credits are required. These skills will be evaluated during the hiring process. Oral and written French or English; being bilingual (oral and written) is an asset. Experience in a manufacturing environment (asset). Knowledge of cost accounting and multi-currency management (asset).
