Junior Accountant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Accountant located in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing financial reports, maintaining accounts payable and receivable, and updating financial statements. This role is placed within a dynamic workplace and offers the chance to contribute significantly to our team's success.Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information being processed is accurate- Review expenses and other assigned items for accuracy- Process income statements, balance sheets, and other financial statements in accordance with legal, financial, and accounting guidelines- Perform reconciliations and update accounts payable and receivable- Issue invoices to customers and clients- Ensure proper recording of all business transactions by processing financial entries- Develop monthly financial statements that include cash flow records, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets- Perform other related tasks as required.- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)- Familiarity with Billing procedures and practices- Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently- Experience with Invoice Processing - Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
