Corporate Real Estate & Commercial LawyerMontrealDo you have good interpersonal and business skills?Are you passionate about real estate law?Our client, a well-established company and leader in its field, is currently looking for a bilingual legal advisor specialized in real estate law. The ideal candidate will have between 2- and 4-years' experience.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with the company's senior management team, as well as with a fine clientele from the commercial sector, on a national scale. He/she will have the chance to carry out stimulating mandates related to the purchase and sale of commercial properties.YOUR ROLE :On a day-to-day basis, the successful candidate will ensure the continuity of the company's projects, work on financing files, and participate in various real estate transactions.Duties will include:Be responsible for drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial leases with the various parties involved;Ensure the verification and compliance of various types of commercial contracts, including service contracts, purchase or sale agreements, licensing agreements, confidentiality agreements, letters of intent, etc;Monitor commercial transactions: purchase/sale of real estate and/or property refinancing;Conduct appropriate legal research (legislative and/or case law) quickly and efficiently;Make representations before the housing administrative tribunal concerning leases on residential properties;File annual returns with the Registre des Entreprises and other government agencies;Act as a point of contact for external and internal resources and offer them appropriate support and advice;Implement and execute internal company protocols, etc.SKILLS REQUIRED :Bachelor's degree in law;Member of the Quebec Bar;Ability to express oneself and write in two languages (French and English);Ability to communicate concisely and effectively;Ability to work under pressure;Attention to detail; Good organizational skills;Excellent work ethic.INTERESTED IN THIS CHALLENGE?
