Our enterprise public sector client is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to help their teams work through epics using the Scaled Agile Framework for enterprise (SAFe) methodology and support with a new pod formation that will be supporting Claims related initiatives. 1 year contract, possibilities of extensions. Hybrid in office, Vancouver. Expected Start Date: Jan 2025 Must Have: 6 years direct hands-on experience in the agile practice as ScrumMaster working at the enterprise level, in highly complex and integrated environments. Of the 6 years, 4 years of relevant experience with agile methodologies and DevOps environments Of the 6 years, 2 years’ experience developing/delivery in the cloud Holds Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification such as CSPO, CSD, CSP, or PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), CDAP, CLP. Considerable experience identifying and removing technical & non-technical roadblocks towards team progress. Holds Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification like SAFe Practitioner, or commitment to take the course and obtain certification within 2 months from commencement of work. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) majors Nice to Have: Project management skills including budgeting and forecasting. Responsibilities: Scrum Master delivers projects of varying complexity and size and for ensuring support of the production applications meet the expected service levels of our customers. Will guide and coach product owners and development teams through story development, iterations, retrospectives, product backlog management and decision making.
