The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Manager, Health Services, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values of Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre (HSC), the Coordinator, Spiritual Health Education is responsible for: coordinating, facilitating and administering the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Program; acting as a resource for in-service education for all health care disciplines as requested; participating on committees; and performing other related duties as assigned. Experience Three (3) years hospital spiritual health care experience. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Master’s degree in Divinity or equivalent. Certification/Licensure/Registration Supervisor (teaching) certification with Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC). Must maintain certification. Qualifications and Skills Involved in a daily spiritual practice. Open and respectful of “non-traditional” spiritual/existential paths, and able to teach in a diverse and inclusive manner. Experience and/or training in Adult Education. Knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in the use of various common software applications which may include, but is not limited to, spreadsheet, word processing, database, internet and email applications. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to interact well with others. Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature. Ability to work with accuracy.
