Job Description
S.i. Systems public health authority client is seeking a Senior Change Management Specialist to provide guidance, support, implementation activities for complex IMIT projects. Initial 4 month contract, Dec - March 2025 Hybrid - must be onsite 2 days / week at downtown office MUST HAVE SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Business, Computer Science /Health Informatics) or an equivalent combination of education and experience PROSCI Change Management Certification, or equivalent. 8 years of recent direct change management experience, providing change management guidance and support on multiple projects and change management initiatives simultaneously, through the full change management lifecycle. Proven supervisory and management experience. Proven experience in creating change management documents, such as stakeholder analysis, change impact analysis, change management plan, engagement & communication plan, training plan , etc, including preparation of briefing documents for the senior executives. Proven experience in organizational transformation initiatives JOB DUTIES: The Contractor shall provide the following services: • Work collaboratively with project team, applications & technology team, business areas, and external partners, including First Nations stakeholders, to support implementing key projects, change initiatives, and organizational priorities. • Effectively communicate with cross-organizational team members and stakeholders. • Provide change management expertise on multiple, complex projects and change initiatives simultaneously. • Utilize change management processes, tools, and templates that align with standards and practices and the Prosci Methodology. • Actively collaborate with project teams and organizational leaders to ensure alignment of change management efforts with strategic goals. • Maintain active collaboration with project managers, business analysts, change management analysts, and other IMIT stakeholders to ensure alignment of change management with project goals. • Facilitate regular check-ins and updates on project progress related to change initiatives. • Assess change readiness to gauge organizational preparedness. • Identify opportunities and work with key stakeholders to implement improvements for change management framework, processes, tools, and templates. • Provide guidance and support to leadership to strengthen change management practice and maturity for IMIT department. Deliverables The Contractor shall provide the following deliverables: • Conduct detailed impact assessments for each project and change initiative, outlining the impacts on people, processes, tools, and technology. • Develop a comprehensive stakeholder registry and perform proper stakeholders’ analysis. • Create and document engagement & communication strategies for stakeholders at all levels, and develop outlined communication materials (e.g., emails, presentations, newsletters). • Create and document change management strategies for stakeholders at all levels, and support the implementation of the outlined change management activities (e.g., communications, demos, workshops, training). • Conduct training needs assessment, develop subsequent training plans, and produce training materials (e.g., guides, elearning modules, workshops) for end-users. • Continuously monitor change management plan performance and appropriation levels by establishing regular feedback loops and adjusting strategies as needed. • Provide regular progress reports highlighting milestones, challenges, and next steps. • Prepare documentation based on best practices and FNHA’s standards from change management processes. • Conduct post-implementation reviews to validate the results of the change management and provide recommendations for future efforts based on lessons learned.
