Casual means hours are not guaranteed and may vary and shifts may be at short notice. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings including permanent and temporary positions. There are many opportunities with Interior Health that begin with casual employment and lead to regular employment. Shifts of work will be scheduled days, evenings and nights; rotating from 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00, 23:00 to 07:00 hours. About this location/unit: Bastion Place is a multi-level care facility built in 1991 and currently has a total of 80 beds: 60 are private rooms, two 2 bed wards and three 4 bed wards. Included are 3 palliative care beds, 7 convalescent care beds, 3 booked respite beds.
