Senior Expeditor to manage timely delivery of materials and engineered equipment for pipelines and pipeline terminal facilities

Our midstream client is looking for a Senior Expeditor to manage timely delivery of materials and engineered equipment for pipelines and pipeline terminal facilities Must Have: 8 years of experience as an Expeditor with-in the oil and gas industry, preferably pipeline and terminal facility experience Strong experience supporting multiple projects concurrently and determining critical items for each Responsible for expediting materials and engineered equipment Proficiency in MS Office Applications and Oracle Strong working knowledge of purchasing , including pricing negotiations · Responsibilities: · Coordinate with management, engineering and operations to define critical requirements for meeting project schedules · Prepare a critical item list for each job · Expedite orders to ensure timely deliveries of components and materials to meet project schedules · Work with Buyers and the Materials Manager to ensure that delivery commitments from Vendor(s) are clearly defined · Obtain weekly updates from Vendor(s) on the status of critical items · Document communications with Vendor(s) via e-mail or prepare detailed minutes of meeting(s) with vendors · Monitor material receipts from project locations and receive material in Oracle · Maintain and update weekly expediting reports by project · Establish and maintain positive working relationships with vendors · Conduct site visits to manufacturer/vendor locations to check progress and confirm material status · Interact and support a broad spectrum of personnel internal and external to the company Apply
