As a Customer Data Platform Practice Leader, you are passionate about helping clients understand how to use customer data to unlock business value and innovative solutions for your clients. You have experience building high performing teams from the ground up, with the ability to elevate Customer Data thought leadership of from both a functional and technical perspective. You understand the different vendor options available in the marketplace, such as Adobe Experience Platform, Amperity, Lytics, Salesforce Data Cloud, Segment, Tealium, Treasure Data, etc. and how these solutions work within the Martech and AdTech stack to drive a meaningful customer experience and loyalty. You are strategic about how to drive new accounts, sales, and partnerships through problem-solving, collaboration, and savviness with all things customer and marketing. Specifically, in this role, you will: Lead the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy & plan for the CDP practice Lead and support pursuits and business development activities to expand sales pipeline Lead successful delivery of complex engagements for CDP solutions within the marketing domain from strategy, design, planning, through to implementation Develop winning partnerships with leading CDP vendor solutions and understand how various products should be utilized within the technical ecosystem Work with client executives in IT and Marketing teams on developing the business case for CDP and prioritizing requirements and marketing use cases that are fit-for-purpose to their organizations Collaborate with other Deloitte Partners / Industry Leaders within the firm to plug the CDP capability into broader business opportunities (e.g. Content Management Systems, Loyalty Programs, Customer Analytics, MDM, Operating Model Changes) Engage with and learn from deep subject matter experts to drive innovation and bring the best in thought leadership to our clients Grow, nurture / mentor, and hire the next generation of CDP leaders and practitioners Be empowered to lead and have impact with clients, our communities and in the office About the team The Marketing & Commerce team designs and implements solutions that engage and activate customers through the end-to-end customer journey. Enough about us, let’s talk about you You are someone with: Experience building a world-class practice including talent management, vendor management, go-to-market strategies, and business development (client relationships, responding to RFPs, pitch decks, pricing strategy, etc.) 10 - 15 years experience successfully delivering technical projects in customer and marketing related areas such as with CRM ecosystems (Salesforce, MS Dynamics 365), Master-Data-Management platforms (MDM) that focus on customer domain, CDP (Customer Data Platform used for Marketing), Customer Warehouse design, build and applications Strong understanding of Customer Masters and various techniques in identifying customers from multiple channels and systems, leveraging deterministic and probabilistic algorithms, de-duplication, consolidation and splitting customer records Proven track-record working with various marketing technologies such as Adobe, Google, Salesforce, and relevant data management and customer data platform vendors Extensive experience in data integration with upstream and downstream systems and channels, including various real-time and batch integration technologies, design and implementation Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings and complex concepts, including thorough understanding of what may drive business priorities, strategy and direction, and what may drive customer business needs Relevant industry experience in Consumer, Public Sector, and/or Financial Services Past experience in a consulting background / environment would be considered an asset Education in business, marketing, computer science / engineering, and/or information management would be is preferred Bi-lingual (French and English) is strongly desired (for Montreal location, fluent business level French is mandatory) (Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, bilingualism in French and English is an asset for this position) Total Rewards The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $234,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
