Sr Material Management Specialist to assist on procurement processing for a Federal Govt. client

Our valued public sector client is looking to hire One Secret cleared Sr Material Management Specialist to assist on procurement processing. Background: The client group is responsible to provide national level Third Line Support, hardware and software procurement services, and limited life cycle management for national Command and Control (C2) systems and Intelligence networks at the Secret and Top Secret classification. The scope of work is to provide procurement support for the provision of classified communications equipment that is used on classified networks within the Department of National Defence. Responsibilities: Liaise with the ADM(IM) contracting authority to ensure that all the required information for their procurement processing is provided; Track and update procurement tracking excel sheets, PST, and network files in full for all ongoing procurements files; Provide updates to both the clients and management on procurement file status, any causes of delays, and required actions to move the file forward; Review, analyze, and provide recommendations relating to procurement processing SOPs to enable continual improvement on how to process procurement files more effectively; Redirect client to process a procurement if the requirements cannot be met through equipment stocks; Follow-up and provide clear and relevant notes on the CSNI EITSM tickets; Assist in financial planning and forecasting for future requirement of stock levels; Assist in on-site stock checking to ensure accurate numbers are being tracked on all tracking sheets ; Assist on on-site receipt of goods when and if deemed necessary by management Must have: Financial Administration Act Procurement Administration Manual (PAM) Supply Administration Manual (SAM) policies and procedures Nice to have: Apply
