Job Summary The Planning Manager, Strategic Initiatives you will lead, partner, and/or collaborate on initiatives that are aligned with strategic priorities in GFT and Technology & Operations and RBC. Your experience with analyzing data, developing reports, and creating presentations are essential to this role. Job Description What is the opportunity? Are you looking for a role that allows you to support a number of key initiatives in the Chief Operating Office and work with partners from across Global Functions Technology (GFT)? As the Planning Manager, Strategic Initiatives you will lead, partner, and/or collaborate on initiatives that are aligned with strategic priorities in GFT and Technology & Operations and RBC. Your experience with analyzing data, developing reports, and creating presentations are essential to this role. What will you do? Workspace Management: Oversee the utilization of workspace across multiple locations and geographies. Reporting: Provide monthly workspace reporting and analysis, consolidate and analyze trend and forecast data to ensure appropriate seating allocations, provide monthly variance analysis as well as premises data integrity across appropriate systems Data Analytics: Act as subject matter expert in supporting the Communications and Strategic Initiatives team with analytics of data from multiple data sources. Early Talent: oversee GFTs commitment to supporting early talent through various programs and initiatives. Knowledge Management: Develop, implement, and operationalize the approach for the teams data repositories. Team Collaboration: Support communications and presentations, employee training and engagement programs, and internal social media activities Execute other key strategic portfolio initiatives driven by GFT senior leaders. What do you need to succeed? Must-Have: Post-Secondary Education in any of the following: Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology or Project Management Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Reporting experience with strong attention to detail and analytical mindset Exemplary business acumen plus operational mindset, with demonstrated ability to lead and build sustainable, transparent relationships / partnerships Proven track record in delivering against business priorities in a fast paced environment Nice-to-have: 2 years in the financial services or other regulated industries Experience with Tableau, SharePoint and RBC Connect Experience managing office/workspace moves Experience with executive presentations Change management and communication skills; Contract & supplier management experience (relationship, governance, performance) Whats in it for you?
