Your Opportunity BDO's Strategic Pursuit Centre (SPC) is seeking a coordinator to join our team of dedicated proposal professionals providing pursuit management support and advisory services to the firm’s most strategic pursuits nationally. The SPC team is responsible for managing the pursuit process across the country for both our public and private sector marketplace, spanning all BDO industries and services. The SPC is a team of dedicated proposal experts who understand the way both private and Canadian public sector organizations buy. We provide end-to-end services in the preparation, execution and follow-up stages of the pursuit process to help BDO win in the market. Our team is currently seeking a coordinator. This candidate would ideally work out of BDO’s Ottawa, Montreal or Toronto office, with the option to work remotely as per BDO policy. For the right candidate, the position would be open to any of our Canadian offices. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Support the entire pursuit process for strategic proposal responses from proposal kick-off, document creation, project management, formatting and design to final submission. Provide high quality deliverables and escalate any potential risks. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the proposal process. Provide RFx review and analysis, custom response template development, and support end-to-end pursuit management. Work to help BDO differentiate our services and remain competitive, compliant, and high scoring. Support the orals presentation process, including document creation and design. Assist with debriefs for each win/loss supported. Ability to work collaboratively with a team player mentality. Ensure BDO’s International Corporate Visual Identity Standards and National brand standards are adhered to. How do we define success for your role? Experience with understanding the proposal process. A well-organized individual who enjoys project related work, tight deadlines, problem-solving, and wants to be part of a fast-paced team. An understanding of Project Management tools and concepts that will aid the proposal process and the bidding team. Excellent written, interpersonal, communication and consensus management skills are vital. Ability to prioritize workloads, as well as the flexibility to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines. Process improvement mindset that is continuously striving to evolve our ways of working and improve the end-user experience. Experience in virtual pursuit leadership and cultivating cross-functional team collaboration. Strong experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is required.
