BBSI has partnered with an amazing, tech-forward organization seeking a high level administrative assistant who can coordinate a large project.
Contract Project Coordinator (6 mos)
Mon-Fri 8-5PM (OT as needed)
$35 - $45 an hour
The Project Coordinator provides high-level support to a Project Manager, performing a variety of administrative duties and skilled tasks that may include preparing reports, conducting research, collecting and analyzing data. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for the assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with testing of system changes, researching and escalating issues, configuring system setup and analyzing data flow for process improvement opportunities. The Project Coordinator will plan, schedule, implement, and monitor project activities, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and deadlines are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Collects requested data and information from various sources including email and other correspondence, meeting minutes and records, and other documents; prepares summaries of findings and/or other related written correspondence as requested.
- Collaborates with executive leadership and departmental staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
- Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and interdepartmental staff.
- Fields project-related questions and assists with customer-required process reviews.
- Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors. Serves as a representative and liaison between internal management, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for system design and implementation projects.
- Conduct research (within skills and expertise) to assist with projects or inquiries.
- Provides high-level administrative support to an assigned Project Manager.
- Serves as the point person for data-related tasks on an assigned project.
- Coordinates and schedules meetings, and appointments. Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings, conferences, and other assigned events; takes and distributes minutes or other notes as requested.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- 5+ years in project management required
- Experience in system implementation (preferred)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
- Ability to read, write, hear, speak and comprehend English

- Intermediate skill in MS Office suite
- Ability to work overtime (when requested/needed)
- Punctuality and regular attendance (required)
- Must have experience with ERP Omplementation
- PMP Certificate (preferred)
