Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that all purchasing activities align with the company’s operational goals. This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of supply chain management, and the ability to effectively manage vendor relationships. The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels and facilitating the timely acquisition of materials and services necessary for production.
Experience
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities include the following:
Daily responsibilities:
1. Managing purchase orders.
2. Maintaining Customer relations.
3. Responding to customer requests promptly.
4. Reviewing quality clauses thoroughly
5. Confirming accurate delivery dates and pricing
6. Typing of general correspondence, quotations/proposals, and submittals.
Knowledge of Software:
1. Windows
2. Microsoft Word
3. Excel
4. Microsoft Outlook
5. Microsoft Access
