Job Description
- You will be responsible for ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers
- Securing shipment arrival times
- Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products
- Performing quality checks on stored inventory
- Discarding inventory that does not meet the company’s standards
- You will update inventory counts, maintain inventory records, report discrepancies, implement loss prevention programs, obtain estimates and price details from various vendors, and research the accuracy of product details and test new products.
- Order inventory from vendors and suppliers.
- Secure shipment arrival times.
- Manage inventory by stocking and cataloging products.
- Perform quality checks on stored inventory and discard items that do not meet standards.
- Update inventory counts and maintain inventory records for management and stakeholders.
- Report discrepancies in inventory that indicate theft.
- Implement loss prevention programs to prevent theft.
- Obtain estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs.
- Research the accuracy of product details and test new products.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Inventory management skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping.
- Experience in production control.
- Ability to close out production orders, including output and consumption.
- Knowledge of material movements.
- Experience as a Material Handler.
