Position: Cargowise SME/Architect

Location: Dallas, TX – Onsite

Duration: Long Term



Job Description: The Cargowise Integration and Implementation consultant(specialist) will play a critical role in the implementation, Integration, support, and customization of the Cargowise One platform across various logistics verticals. This role requires expertise in configuring, integrating, and maintaining Cargowise systems, ensuring seamless operations in freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain management. The analyst will collaborate closely with business users, technical teams, and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions and support across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and configure Cargowise One for freight forwarding, finance, transport, and custom modules.
Provide Level 2 (L2) support for Cargowise One, resolving system issues, handling upgrades, and training users.
Collaborate with global teams, including superusers, to manage system updates, process improvements, and new feature rollouts.
Customize documents, workflows, and templates based on business requirements.
Migration from multiple instances to one instance.
New customer onboarding, Partner Integrations.
Upgrade of CW instances and Implement the capabilities to improve overall efficiency.
Perform system testing (UAT, SIT) and support production releases in collaboration with interfacing teams.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve ERP issues reported by end users.
Manage master data creation, user roles, and system security for Cargowise modules.
Work on integrating legacy systems with Cargowise One, using API interfaces.
Participate in project management activities, including reporting progress to senior management, organizing meetings, and mitigating risks.

Mandatory Skills:

Minimum of 7 years of experience with Cargowise One implementation, Integration, support, and customization.
Strong understanding of logistics verticals, including freight forwarding, warehousing, transport, and supply chain management.
Expertise in integration with legacy systems and custom accounting solutions.
Must have understanding of eHub and eAdaptor and have done migration from eHub to eAdaptor.
Must have end to end understanding of new customer onboarding process on Cargowise.
Must have done partner Integration with Cargowise.
Should have done handheld device Implementation for Warehouses with Cargowise.
Must have worked on Cargowise Integration with NetSuite and have done periodic Invoicing Automation.
Must have done electronic invoicing as per countries specification(e.g. LATAM).
Should have worked on In Bond Movements Module Enhancements (OTS).
Must have worked on migration from other WMS to Cargowise and worked on post migration activities such as contacts, Master data audit and cleansing, users deactivation, cleanup etc.
Familiarity with MDM Governance Program.
Understanding of processes related to migrating from multiple instances to one instances.
Proficiency in ERP implementation and support, particularly in a multi-national environment.
Experience with workflow and template setup in Cargowise One.
Strong operational expertise in Cargowise One across freight, finance, and transport modules.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with L2 support experience.
Familiarity with system monitoring tools.
Proficiency in project management, including SIT, UAT, and production releases.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Cargowise certification from WiseTech Global.
Experience with API integration (e-Adapter competency).
Tandam and SciEx WMS migration to Cargowise.
Experience with Service Now Ticketing Tool or similar platforms for issue tracking.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and their deployment across application support.
Experience in working with onshore and offshore support teams in a global IT environment.
Ability to manage tight deadlines, changing priorities, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and documentation skills for creating manuals, reference documents, and training materials.
