Associate General Counsel

Job Summary:
Join Moran Logistics, a reputable family-owned logistics provider, as an Associate General Counsel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate law, with expertise in contract negotiation, compliance, and risk management. This role will involve providing legal advice and support to various departments within the company, including Senior Management and ownership, ensuring that all business practices adhere to applicable laws and regulations. The Associate General Counsel will assist the company’s general counsel in drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing litigation matters, and contributing to the development of the company’s legal policies. In addition to these roles, the associate general counsel will also be responsible for regular grant writing and administration activities that will be completed the companies behalf. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the bar are required, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal setting.

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar association.
- Proven experience in negotiating contracts and agreements.
-3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal setting.
- Proficiency in legal drafting techniques.
- Knowledge of general law office operations and procedures.
