General Purpose

The VP of Applications and Digital Experience is responsible for overseeing the strategy, development and management of ZO Skin Health applications, data systems and analytics initiatives. This leadership role ensure that the organizations data assets and application ecosystems are leveraged to drive business value, enhance operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute the enterprise-wide strategy for applications and data management.

Align technology initiatives with business goals, ensuring the effective use of applications and data to drive innovation and growth.

Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize technology needs and opportunities.

Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications.

Continuously evaluate and optimize application performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Ensure that applications are scalable and capable of supporting the organization’s growth.

Application Management and Data Management:

Assume full ownership of digital applications, ensuring their alignment with business goals.

Manage the lifecycle of digital applications from ideation to deployment, continuously improving functionality based on user feedback and technological advancements.

Accountable for the overall performance, security, and scalability of digital applications, with a focus on delivering.

Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications, including ERP (NETSUITE), CRM, and other critical business systems.

Lead efforts to modernize legacy systems and integrate new technologies.

Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data integrity, quality, and security.

Drive the development and implementation of data architecture, ensuring data accessibility and usability across the organization.

Oversee the creation and management of data lakes, warehouses, and analytics platforms.

Analytics and Reporting:

Lead the organization's data analytics initiatives, providing insights that inform business decisions.

Develop and implement advanced analytics capabilities to enhance data-driven decision-making.

Ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and actionable reports and dashboards to stakeholders.

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other tools that enable stakeholders to access key business metrics.

Team Leadership:

Build and lead a high-performing team of application developers and analysts.

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the technology teams.

Mentor and develop staff, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

Manage relationships with key technology vendors and service providers.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure the organization receives optimal value.

Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technology solutions.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

8+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on applications and data management.

• Proven track record of leading technology initiatives in a complex environment.
• Experience with cloud computing, data warehousing, and enterprise application development.
