We are recruiting a PIPELINE of coaches for expected business later this year.

Description

We have an openingfor a part-time casual career coach based inthe Kansas City, MO areato support our relocation and/or outplacement solutions. With relocation, we support employees and their spouses/families as they acclimate to new cities and assist spouses/partners with finding employment. With outplacement, we work with employees receiving our outplacement services in searching for new career opportunities.

TheCoach works in a 1:1 capacity with employees of our client companies who are relocating to theregionor are searching for work as part of an outplacement inthe area.The Coachuses IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology and also supports the spouse or partner of the relocating employee with job search support.

This isa part-time, casual (hours vary as available), remote position, approximately 10 -20 hours per week (no guaranteed hours).

  • Establishes rapport with employees and motivates them to achieve goals.
  • Guides employees through coaching process and milestone completion.
  • Advises and coaches career development, transition issues, and career options.
  • Coacheson résumé writing, effective marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiating.
  • Maintains electronic service delivery record for eachemployee serviced, according to the internal guide.
  • Monitors progress of employees, consults with them on specific subjects to improve their job search skills and knowledge and deals with personal issues that are affecting their careers.

Requirements

Minimum threeyears of experience in the delivery of job search strategy/career coaching to individuals in various industries and levels. Experience with resume development, interview preparation, career exploration, LinkedIn profiles, and other social media platforms, salary negotiations, personal branding, plusother aspects of job search coaching.

  • Currently resides in the Kansas City, MO areaand has knowledge of livingand job searching there.
  • Very strong verbal / written communication skills.
  • Experience with virtual coaching.
  • Navigating through VISA challenges and working with career continuation scenarios a plus.
  • Savvy with technology. High-speed internet connection on a personal computer; headset with a microphone will be required (remote work).

Ideal Candidate

  • Master’s degree in a discipline involving the study of human behavior, business, or related field preferred
  • Coaching certification or training highly regarded
  • Has personally relocated to a different city
