Business Systems Analyst

Job Description

A federal client of Insight Global is looking for a budget analyst to join their team. This team supports a large stockpile that the U.S. government can pull supplies from (masks, gloves, vaccinations, toilet paper, etc.) in the event of an emergency and deploy to emergency locations. The following is a part of their job requirements:

1. 
   

   Participate in meetings with senior government officials

   
   


2. 
   

   Analyze existing or proposed procedures, systems, strategies, services; identify needs for improvement or assist in development of methods and resources to accomplish such improvements.

   
   


3. 
   

   Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, evaluate and document requirements. Work with IT teams to develop, configure and test systems that meet business requirements.

   
   


4. 
   

   Conduct data mining, analysis, modeling from structured and unstructured data using analytics tools (e.g., Excel and Power BI). Extract insights to develop findings, inferences, conclusions, and recommendations. Translate the results of analysis into clear, actionable communications that equip decision makers to make informed, data-driven decisions based on data analytics.

   
   


5. 
   

   Create, develop, and publish sustainable reports and dashboards that update with current data on a reoccurring basis.

   
   


6. 
   

   Develop and maintain working relationships with appropriate organizations to meet the needs of the programs mission

   
   


7. 
   

   Research, collect, compile, and review qualitative and quantitative information and data for use in program decisions.

   
   


8. 
   

   Assist with the preparation of system recommendations to senior officials.

   
   


9. 
   

   Perform other related research, analysis, and related tasks and assignments in support of Business Systems Analyst Services.

   
   

PR: $27-$33/HR

Skills and Requirements

1. 
   

   Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Business Analysis

   
   


2. 
   

   Strong data analysis experience

   
   


3. 
   

   Experience working with Excel and PowerBI null
