Job Summary


The Supply Chain Specialist key responsibilities are 1. Pick, pack, and ship products and items and printout packing slips and shipping labels for domestic and international shipments, 2. Create and ensure the accuracy of the weights, dimension, etc. used on domestic and international Air Waybills (AWB) and Bill of Lading (BOL) documents, 3. Coordinate with vendors and internal team members on inbound and outbound, domestic and international logistics, 4. Partner with Procurement to receive and ensure inventory accuracy of incoming materials, and 5. Lead by example and adhere to prescribed departmental procedures to ensure customers receive support in a consistent and similar manner.


In addition, the Supply Chain Specialist will demonstrate an incessant desire to organize and maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse, work cells, aisles, and work areas, and a continuous improvement mindset and an openness to new approaches and solutions to enhance the supply chain and logistics process.


Key Responsibilities


  • Pick, pack, and ship products and items and printout packing slips and shipping labels for domestic and international shipments.
  • Daily activities include but not limited to the breakdown of cardboard boxes, disposal of recycled material, pallets, and trash, and the sweeping of floors throughout the warehouse, work cells, aisles, and work areas.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal team members on inbound and outbound, domestic and international logistics.
  • Provide clerical support on inbound and outbound, domestic and international logistics.
  • Maintain logs and records of required documentation.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse, work cells, aisles, and work areas.
  • Create and ensure the accuracy of the weights, dimension, etc. used on domestic and international Air Waybills (AWB) and Bill of Lading (BOL) documents.
  • Research and ensure the accuracy of the HS and HTS codes used on Commercial Invoices for international shipments.
  • Partner with Procurement to receive and ensure inventory accuracy of incoming materials.
  • Partner with Procurement to order and receive consumable material required for the ongoing operation.
  • Receive incoming and outgoing customer CRMA and RMA return, and investigative whereabouts of CRMA and RMA shipments if required.
  • Ensure the accuracy between physical inventory and ERP inventory movements.
  • Use a pallet jack to move product physically throughout the warehouse, work cells, aisles, and work areas.
  • Partner with the Supply Chain Operations Manager to review historical trends, identify drivers, and evaluate operational performance/KPIs to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Escalate incidents proactively and in a timely manner.
  • Triage inbound internal and external customer requests, prioritize tickets in the queue, and solve tickets accordingly.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot incidents raised by customers; provide timely and consistent responses via telephone, email, and any future channel.
  • Communicate proactively with customers using clear, professional, and effective communication.


Special Requirements

  • Onsite Third-Party Logistics visits are required.
  • While performing the Key Responsibilities, ability to:
    • Walk long distances.
    • Stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time.
    • Bend, squat, kneel, and lift heavy objects greater than 50 lbs (23 kg).
    • Work on ladders.
    • Use hand tools and power tools.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends, if required.
  • Additional Key Responsibilities as described below, but not limited to, are required.
    • Use schematics and datasheets to diagnose and perform repairs on system equipment.
    • Perform PCB board level component repairs.
    • Perform production and assembly activities for Embed system hardware.
  • Set up equipment and materials at trade shows.


Required Skills and Experience


  • 2-4 years’ experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment is preferred.
  • Associate degree in supply chain or equivalent education or work experience.
  • Intermediate level with Oracle NetSuite is preferred or equivalent ERP work experience.
  • Foundation ability in prioritising and balancing time among multiple activities.
  • Foundation level in troubleshooting, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Highly organized and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate good judgement using facts and analytics.
    • Expert level in communicating both written (grammar and punctuation) and verbal.
    • Natural desire to help people.
    • Foundation level in building strong relationships with customers and with team members.
    • Foundation level in internal and external conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
    • Foundation level with Microsoft Excel, i.e., pivot tables, equations, etc.
    • Incessant desire to ensure accuracy of inventory and inventory moments.
