Key Responsibilities

As a Tax Manager/Senior Manager in our Irvine, CA office, your typical day may include:

  • Tax Return Management: Oversee the preparation and accurate completion of individual and business tax returns, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Review, approve, and sign off on tax returns before they are released to clients.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and coach staff members, enhancing their skills and supporting their career development.
  • Client Collaboration: Gather relevant tax-related information from clients to prepare precise tax returns.
  • Strategic Tax Planning: Analyze tax situations from multiple perspectives to maximize tax benefits for clients.
  • Business Development: Network and build relationships to attract new clients and expand the firm’s business.
  • Client Billing: Manage billing processes for the services and guidance provided to clients.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
  • Education & Certification:
  • Active CPA license.
  • Experience:
  • 5 plus years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax work.
  • Proven experience in the Construction or Manufacturing industries.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations and the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and analyzing financial statements.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
