Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with over ten years of experience in consulting engineering and project management. This role requires extensive knowledge and expertise in the design, specification, and implementation of a wide range of electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both low- and high-voltage system design, power distribution, lighting, and control systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
The successful candidate will bring not only technical proficiency but also a strong ability to consult and collaborate with architectural practices. This role involves working closely with architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver comprehensive project solutions. Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a keen attention to detail in delivering high-quality engineering work.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
Develop and review electrical system specifications, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry standards.
Work collaboratively with architectural and engineering teams to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
Manage and oversee the successful completion of electrical engineering projects, from concept through construction.
Provide consulting expertise to architectural teams on electrical system requirements, performance optimization, and sustainable design solutions.
Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise to foster team growth and project success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 10 years of consulting Electrical Engineering experience
Industrial and manufacturing buildings experience is desired
Registration as PE (preferred)
Project Management experience is required
Must be able to obtain US Security clearance
