As a Service Manager in the Construction industry, you will be playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company. We are looking for an experienced professional who can take charge of our service department, manage commercial roofing projects, and oversee the flow of documents, estimates, inspections, scopes, and proposals. Your role will include project management, job site management, and operations management. The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record in sales and the ability to establish objectives and goals for the team. This is a hands-on role requiring an individual with a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and a passion for the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
2. Manage commercial roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring all work is done to the highest standard.
3. Plan, organize, and establish objectives and goals for the team, providing clear direction and motivation.
4. Oversee the flow of documents, estimates, inspections, scopes, and proposals, ensuring all are accurate and up-to-date.
5. Act as a Site Superintendent and Construction Manager, ensuring all job sites are managed effectively and safely.
6. Drive sales within the company, using your knowledge and experience to secure new business and maintain existing relationships.
7. Implement and manage project plans, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
8. Ensure all operations are conducted in a legal and ethical manner, adhering to all relevant legislation and company policies.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience managing a service department.
3. Strong knowledge of commercial roofing.
4. Excellent project management skills.
5. Proven experience as a Site Superintendent and Construction Manager.
6. Strong sales skills, with a proven track record of driving sales within a company.
7. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and establish objectives and goals.
8. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. A strong understanding of the legal and ethical considerations within the construction industry.
11. A passion for the construction industry and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our company.
