We have a strong technological base and hold a leading market position in the US and overseas. We currently have an opening for a “Field Service Engineer” based out of Hillsboro, Oregon (ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES FROM THE HILLSBORO, OREGON AREA TO APPLY – THANK YOU!).

NOTE: This position requires working closely with the U.S. Government – to qualify candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for performing on-site installation, servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. This position requires some travel (up to 50%), local, domestic or international.

LEVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Works on problems of a diverse scope where analysis of data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Requires BS degree or equivalent experience (2 to 5 years), good communication skills, and the ability to deal both professionally and effectively with customers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The employee is regularly required to talk & listen, frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fine finger manipulation, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is usually moderate cubicle environment or moderate to noisy manufacturing environment.

SALARY RANGE

$30.00 - $50.00 / Per Hour (Hourly / Non-Exempt Position)
