Business Analyst (Business Intelligence)

The role will involve working collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver insightful solutions that enhance decision-making processes.

This role can be undertaken on a remote basis with potential occasional travel to any of our offices across the UK.

About the role:

• Engage with business stakeholders and SME's to capture and agree reporting and analytics requirements and provide guidance to the BI Development team.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define business intelligence needs and objectives.
• Developing and documenting business requirements for BI solutions.
• Analyzing data and generating meaningful reports that support strategic decisions.
• Utilizing BI tools to visualize data and present findings to stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.
• Ensure consistent use of standard business terminology and data sources.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience as a Business Analyst with demonstrable experience delivering solutions around Business Intelligence.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data set.
• Experience in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into uses cases in ADO (with descriptions, acceptance criteria, functional and non-functional requirements).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical audiences.
• An ability to present visualisations/reports in a business context to business stakeholders.
