Readiness Administrator / Co-Ordinator
Location: Cramlington
Reporting To: Senior Operational Readiness Manager
About the Role
Reporting into the Senior Operational Readiness Manager you will check the readiness of newly recruited engineers to ensure they start training with all the necessary pre-requisites complete ahead of their first day. This will provide a good start to the engineers Customer Connections onboarding journey. You will engage with other departments to check they have enacted their individual actions around email creation, phone set up, tooling, vans, fuel cards, mandatory online training and system set up. You will escalate any issues to the recruitment agencies where actions have not been taken on the part of the engineers.
Once the engineers have completed training you will conduct governance checks on multiple systems to check accreditations are recorded correctly and continue these checks throughout the engineers time in Customer Connections to assure we have a fully compliant workforce in the field. You will book in refresher training where required and liaise with the engineering field managers to inform any engineering downtime required from their normal duties.
You will store copies of engineers being signed off from their buddy support confirming the engineers readiness to start working unsupervised.
Where we have no live recruitment, you will support the Senior Operational Readiness Manager in administration on project work.
Overview Of Responsibilities
* Conducting new engineer recruits' readiness checks.
* Identifying and mitigating risks before engineer training commencement.
* Updating internal trackers.
* Performing final readiness checks before handing over to the manager for buddy sign off.
* Ensuring governance checks are carried out on current engineer accreditations, booking refresher training before expiration.
* Providing administrative support for operational readiness projects.
* Enhancing onboarding and governance processes for all Customer Connections contracts.
