Job Description
Mane are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their client on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing projects to ensure timely completion within budget and to client satisfaction.
This role will require you to be based in the North West and you will have a full drivers licence.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead project teams from design through to commissioning, managing staff and contractors.
Hold regular meetings to monitor progress and ensure targets are met.
Train and support team development.
Liaise with clients, manage expectations, and resolve contract variations.
Develop and track detailed project plans.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
Allocate resources, negotiate with contractors for best value.
Monitor project progress, address delays or issues.
Maintain client relationships and manage communication.
Report regularly to senior management on project status.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
Strong project management, budget control, and team leadership.
Familiarity with the clients products, contracts, and CDM 2015 regulations.
Good IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Project).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
2+ years managing large-scale engineering projects.
Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
Power generation industry experience.
Preferred: Engineering degree, technical knowledge of CHP, and Project Management qualification
