Paralegal Plot Sales

Our client has a vacancy for a motivated, proactive and energetic Plot Sales Paralegal to join their Property team. The team specialise in advising a range of clients acquisition of large residential sites for developer clients and the setting up of these sites for onward plot sale disposals.

This is a great opportunity to develop your legal skills and knowledge within an experienced and mutually supportive team. You will work with long-standing housebuilder clients and handle a full caseload of plot sales (together with any part-exchange properties and re-sales) from inception through to completion.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing contract packs for plot sales to send to the purchaser’s solicitor;

• Dealing with purchaser’s enquiries relating to title, searches and site specific information;

• Reviewing title documents, searches and protocol forms on part-exchange properties, raising enquiries and preparing part-exchange files for completion;

• Dealing with exchanges and completions for plot sales and part-exchanges;

• Re-selling part-exchange properties to a purchaser;

• Attending weekly and adhoc client meetings to update on all current plot sales files.

Requirements

• Great working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong administration skills and real attention to detail

• A people person who is approachable and works well as part of a team

• Results focused

• A willingness to learn and develop your conveyancing expertise
