M&E Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
Our client is a well known mechanical and electrical contractor, and is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with M&E experience to join their growing team in Cambridge.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing project budgets, preparing cost reports, and ensuring financial control from inception through to completion.
* Support the preparation and evaluation of tenders and procurement of subcontractor packages.
* Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring commercial viability.
* Administer contracts and oversee the financial aspects of M&E services.
* Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
Requirements:
* A background in mechanical and electrical services is essential.
* A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an eye for detail.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
