Job Title: Corporate Commercial Associate Solicitor/ Junior Partner
Location: Northampton
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000
My client currently seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor or Junior Partner to join our Corporate Commercial Team in Northampton.
My client houses the largest commercial law team in Northamptonshire recognised by the Legal 500, Lexcel Accredited, and winner of numerous awards. It may come as a shock, but there is an active Company & Commercial market outside of the big cities this region is thriving and with that, comes great opportunity for ambitious lawyers.
Their growing team works with local, regional and national clients; supporting them with all aspects of their business. They are looking for someone with a broad understanding of the commercial and legal needs of corporate clients and experience in advising on: corporate structures; acquisition and growth strategies; succession planning; mergers and joint ventures; restructures and demergers; commercial contracts; and corporate governance. You will have entrepreneurial instincts and spirit and be used to collaborating closely with colleagues across a range of disciplines, clients and other firms and advisers. You will be well connected professionally and adept at networking and driving business development.
You will be advising on the following:
* Mergers, Acquisitions & Disposals
* Succession Planning
* Employee Share Schemes including EMIs, EBTs and EOTs
* Restructuring and Demergers
* Finance Documents
* Governance Documents including Shareholders Agreements, Articles of Association and Partnership Agreements
* Commercial Contracts
* Franchising
* drafting, advising, negotiating, dealmaking

Ideally you will have 8 years + PQE and a good range of experience, and be excited to join a growing Corporate Commercial Team that has a great flow of work already, and more to come.
If you've got this far in your career you are no doubt a confident communicator: persuasive, articulate, and friendly with a good sense of humour and a hunger to get deals done (as well as having good drafting and analytical skills)
