Position

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Personal Secretary based at The Lister Centre at University Hospital Crosshouse.

What you will do:

An exciting part-time opportunity has arisen in our Equalities team (part of our wider Patient Experience Team) for a personal secretary. You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient, effective and comprehensive administrative service and establish robust systems and processes to support Equalities and Patient Information Leaflets (PILs) activity across NHS Ayrshire and Arran.

You must have an understanding of corporate governance processes and relevant experience working in a similar position.

It would be desirable to have an understanding of the health and care sector.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

With an HNC or SVQ3 qualification in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration or equivalent experience, you will be computer literate having an advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Software packages. A key responsibility will be maintaining accurate records via our PILs spreadsheet and Translation and Interpretation spreadsheet.

If you have the above skills and experience partnered with good interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills, are confident in your written and verbal communications and are a team player, we would love to hear from you.
