Health & Safety Officer (Part-Time, 2-3 Days per Week)
Location: Leicester
Salary: Negotiable
Are you a NEBOSH-qualified Health & Safety professional seeking a permanent part-time role?
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced H&S Officer to join a well-established manufacturing company in Leicester. This is a part-time, on-site position (2-3 days per week), providing flexibility while offering the chance to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation across the organization
* Work closely with managers to establish safe working practices
* Conduct regular health and safety audits and reviews
* Collaborate with HR on safety concerns and incident investigations
* Lead Safety Advisory Group meetings
* Recommend actions to prevent the recurrence of safety incidents
* Stay up to date with evolving health and safety regulations
What We're Looking For:
* At least 3 years of hands-on Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing environment (not logistics)
* Strong knowledge of current and upcoming H&S legislation
* Proven ability to conduct investigations and implement preventive measures
* Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
