Well known private sector company in Glasgow. They provide bespoke services to their customers and are a leader in their industry. They place IT at the heart of what they do and have always had a burgeoning technology team to ensure seamless delivery of their service.
Your new role
As a project manager, you will lead the end-to-end implementation of an ERP system, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. You will develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, while engaging with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinating cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and external vendors, will be essential to ensure seamless project execution. You will identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success, monitor project budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints, and implement quality control measures to ensure the system meets all functional and technical requirements. Additionally, you will develop and oversee training programs for end-users to ensure smooth adoption and effective use of the new system, track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and provide regular status reports to senior management. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance project delivery will also be part of your role. What you'll need to succeed
Previous track record of IT Project Management within a cross functional, multi specialism team.
Ability to manage workloads effectively and ensure the project prioritisation is managed to enhance efficiency and meet strict deadlines.
Aptitude for stakeholder management where parties involved will be both technical and non technical.
Previous experience working closely with software development teams would be advantageous. What you'll get in return
Day rate £400-£450 Per day (Inside IR35)
Intial 6 month contract
