Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a " MRI Tech -- Evenings" position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Carbondale, IL. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40hrs./week
Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM -10:30 PM
Call: Every sixth week, one week at a time. 1030 PM-6:00 AM Monday through Thursday, 10:30 PM-7:00 AM Friday, 7:30 PM-7:00 AM Saturday, and 7:30 PM-6:00 AM Sunday.

This job has no requirement to work the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Extreme holiday flexibility is offered.

ARRT (MR) preferred

Role Specific Responsibilities

• Performs MRI
• Utilizes PACS system correctly
• Assists in clerical and office duties to maintain department efficiency
• Checks MRI schedule with Radiologist to verify scan protocol
• Maintains IV/Contrast competency

Education: Associate’s degree in Radiology or Certification

Licenses and Certification

• ARRT Certification in the area of Radiology, MRI
• IEMA Licensure
• CPR
