Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outpatient Pediatric Cardiology APP to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatrics or pediatric cardiology and be able to work independently. The Outpatient Pediatric Cardiology APP will be responsible for providing care to pediatric patients with cardiovascular disease in an outpatient setting, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with our pediatric cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
· Order and interpret diagnostic tests
· Prescribe medications and other treatments
· Provide patient education and counseling
· Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
· Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:
· Master's degree in physician assistant studies (MPA) or a master of science in physician assistant studies (MS-PA) or Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program
· Current state license as a nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatrics is preferred
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
