Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Die Cut Operator for a temp to hire position with a growing company known for its commitment to excellence and quality service in the Houston area. As a Die Cutting Operator, you will be responsible for all activities associated with running the rotary die cutters, including setup, operation, and clean up. If you have a strong work ethic and a desire to be part of a winning team, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect all dies before and after a run to ensure that any necessary repairs are made before the next run.
• Monitor and adhere to customer’s label and print quality in accordance with all required specs.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
• Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, and Quality Data.
• Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume, and rate
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50Ibs
• Must have a clear background, drug-free status, and clean driving record.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $16 an hour, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
