SCOPE OF ROLE New Health MD is in search of professional, responsible, enthusiastic, and patient Bilingual (Spanish, English) Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing family. We are seeking a dedicated and capable Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat health conditions, as well as promote health best practices. As an advanced practice nurse practitioner, you’ll be our go-to person for ensuring the highest level of patient care possible within our primary care clinics. Your day-to-day will include but is not limited to, conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests and overseeing patients’ overall health. As a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives is the ultimate goal.
The ideal candidate is a licensed, certified, non-physician healthcare provider who actively renders direct patient care and possesses delegated prescriptive authority, is credentialed and privileged. The Nurse Practitioner is recognized by Medicare and Medicaid within the healthcare systems, and in accordance with the appropriate board. The Nurse Practitioner provides medical care based upon the scope of practice as delineated by the supervising physician. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat injuries, diseases, and deformities, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions and have strong verbal, written, communication, interpersonal, problem solving, critical thinking and computer software application skills. The ideal candidate must have the ability to develop and implement comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans, counsel patients and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic tests. The ideal candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, PRN, APRN with extensive clinical experience in a primary care environment is highly preferred, but experience in other areas may be considered. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Liaising with other healthcare professionals and patients about treatment plans.
• Examine patients and their medical records
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
• Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases
• Prescribe medications
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
• Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention
• Oversee patients’ overall health
• Promote health best practices
• Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner an APNR in a primary clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
• Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practice
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Patience and cool headedness
• Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
• Valid APRN, FNP, PA, PRN License
• Master’s degree is a must
• Exceptional organizational skills to ensure that exceptional patient care is provided.

• Schedule: 8-Hour shift - Monday to Friday

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The majority of work responsibilities are performed in an open office setting, carrying out detailed work sitting at a desk/table and working on the computer, as well as standing for long periods of time. Travel may be required.
