Job Requirements:

*Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted

*Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics

*Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH

*General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: General Diagnoses include ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, Post-op complications, Cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, Liver failure, Drug overdose, ESRD on CRRT; Block scheduling is not guaranteed; No Travel Pairs (regardless if one is on another unit)

*Ratio / Census: 1:2-3 (Traveler should be prepared for the possibility of taking a 3rd patient); 24 Rooms with average daily census of 19

*Unit Systems: Pyxis, Epic, SBAR

*Scrub Color: Navy Blue

*Weekends: Every other weekend

*Floating: Yes, within facility

*Call Requirements: Not specified

*Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

*Major Holidays are listed below:
New Year’s Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1
Memorial Day: Monday, May 27
Independence Day: Thursday, July 4
Labor Day: Monday, September 2
Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29
Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25
