Job Description

We manufacture steel containers for the waste, construction, recycling, and energy sectors. Most of these are roll-back containers loaded and unloaded off the back of trucks. We are seeking welders who can work in a fast-paced environment. Preferably, candidates should have 1-2 years of experience, which will determine the pay rate. Welders will work on a production line to meet daily production goals. The role primarily involves production welding, including welding walls, floors, frames, sub-assemblies, and gates using MIG welding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work on a production line to meet daily production goals.
• Perform welding and fabricating tasks, with a focus on production welding.
• Weld walls, floors, frames, sub-assemblies, and gates.
• Ensure all welding is completed using MIG welding techniques.
• Produce 15-18 containers per day, depending on the production line.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards to ensure structurally sound products.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of welding experience, preferably in a production environment.
• Proficiency in MIG welding.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with fabrication and fitting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Positive and proactive 'get it done' attitude.
• Ability to work towards and meet production goals.

Work Environment

Our facility is dedicated to manufacturing a variety of containers and dumpsters for commercial use, including semi-truck roll-backs. Although the facility is not climate-controlled, we have been expanding rapidly and are working on a potential 900,000 sq ft expansion on property we own. The work environment is fast-paced and production-focused, with four main production lines: Green Line for inventory stock, Red Line for custom products, Small Containers for piece-rate pay, and Sub-Assemblies for fabricating and welding hook-ups for containers.
