Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating various machines such as the Capper, Induction Sealer, filling machine, and Shrink Wrapper. Your role will ensure continuous machine operation, perform basic troubleshooting, and maintain high-quality standards through regular checks and adjustments. You will also be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing machines, documenting results, and assisting with packing duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines including Capper, Induction Sealer, filling machine, and Shrink Wrapper.
• Maintain continuous machine operation without interruptions.
• Complete cleaning and sanitizing of machines.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and make adjustments to machines and materials.
• Conduct quality checks using a ruler or scale and make necessary adjustments to weights and torques.
• Accurately and completely document results.
• Set up or change over machines by loading them with components, solutions, and packaging materials.
• Assist with packing duties such as palletizing and packing cases as needed.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Palletize finished cases of the product.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of Manufacturing/Production experience at the last company.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical inclination (e.g., working on cars, construction, landscaping).
• 6+ months of Machine Operating experience.

Work Environment

This role is based in an Over the Counter Pharmaceutical (OTC) manufacturing facility. The work environment is loud, requiring hearing protection. You will be standing for 95% of your shift in a very clean, GMP-regulated environment. Steel toes are not required, but hair and beard nets are mandatory
