Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Family law, particularly in areas such as child custody and high asset divorces. This role requires exceptional research and writing skills, as well as the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients. The Senior Associate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality legal services and guidance to our clients while contributing to the overall success of the firm.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on various issues, including divorce and child custody.
Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions, ensuring clarity and compliance with relevant laws.
Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing parties, demonstrating strong advocacy skills.
Utilize Lexis-Nexis and other legal research tools to gather pertinent information for case preparation.
Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to develop case strategies and provide support on complex legal matters.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients' interests.
Assist in mentoring junior associates and interns, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Experience
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law.
Proven expertise in legal research, writing, drafting, and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with legal databases such as Lexis-Nexis is highly desirable.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
