Optometric Receptionist/Technician

El Paso Optical Center is seeking a bilingual, Spanish/English speaking, friendly, computer savvy, detail-oriented Receptionist/Technician to answer phones and welcome our patients. Previous experience in an optometry/ophthalmology practice is a plus, but not necessary. Training will be available for all aspects of the position.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE...

• WELCOMING PATIENTS, VENDORS, REPS AND OTHER VISITORS TO OUR OFFICE
• HAVING NECESSARY PAPERWORK FILLED OUT BY PATIENTS, SCANNING OR UPLOADING INTO PATIENT'S CHART IN OUR SYSTEM
• ANSWERING PHONES
• SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS USING OFFICEMATE (OUR MEDICAL SOFTWARE)
• RESPONDING TO EMAILS

• FREINDLY AND COMPASSIONATE
• ORGANIZED
• STRONG VERBAL SKILLS IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH
• STRONG COMPUTER SKILLS
• DEDICATION TO MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY OF PATIENT RECORDS
• PUNCTUAL WITH STRONG ATTENDANCE HISTORY
