Remote Sign Language Interpreter
We are currently searching for a remote sign language interpreter to assist deaf students in need for this ongoing school year. This position is entirely virtual, and will treat you as an independent contractor, meaning youll have more flexibility in your weekly schedule and your finances. Position Details
- 1099 contract
- 1:1 caseload
- Full-time hours
- Zoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)
- Additional details to be discussed during our interview
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in ASL Interpreting or related program
- 3.5 EIPA ratingorRID certification
- Two years of experience in a school setting with remote experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with online therapy platforms (Zoom/Teams)
- Capable internet and computer set up for virtual work
