Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel CVOR Tech for a 13-week contract at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Oak Lawn, IL. Oak Lawn, located just southwest of Chicago, offers a great suburban enviment with easy access to the city's cultural attractions, restaurants, and entertainment.

Position Details:

• Location: Oak Lawn, IL
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days

Duties:

• Prepare and maintain sterile field for cardiovascular surgeries
• Assist surgeons during open-heart procedures, CABGs, and other trauma cases
• Select and manage surgical instruments and equipment for each procedure
• Ensure proper sterilization and setup of instruments and supplies
• Scrub in for adult open-heart cases and pediatric surgeries
• Monitor and maintain sterile techniques during operations
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years CVOR CST experience in an acute care setting
• Active BLS (AHA) certification
• Active NBSTSA certification
• Experience scrubbing for adult open heart cases

Surgical Case Types:

• Trauma: Gunshot wounds (GSW), stabbings
• Transplant: Kidney and heart transplants, donor cases
• General Surgery: GYN, urology, robotic, vascular, ortho, neuro
• Cardiovascular: Adult open hearts, CABGs
• Pediatric Cases: 20% of caseload, including open hearts, appendectomies, and cholecystectomies
