LanceSoft is seeking a travel Surgical First Assistant for a travel job in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Job Requirements:
*Title: Surgical Assistant - 1st Assist
*Schedule Details:
*Fulltime - Monday through Friday 10 hour days (0600-1630) with a varying day off.
Plus rotating nights, weekend & holiday call divided evenly amongst the first assistants.
*Call is typically 1-2 weekdays (Mon-Thurs) and 1-2 weekends (Fri-Sat-Sun) per 6 week schedule.
*Department Details:
*We do 4-6 open heart surgeries a day. (CABG, AVR, MVR, Minimally invasive Mitrals, Ascending Aortas, Myxomas, Impellas)
On average the First Assists are having to do 2 cases a day.

*Holiday Expectations:
MUST work 2 major Holidays of the 3:
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year’s Day
AND
1 Minor Holiday:
The Friday after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
New Year’s Eve

*Minimum Qualifications:
Surgical assistants must have current credentials of Certified Surgical First Assistant (NBSTSA), Certified Surgical Assistant (NCCSA), or Surgical Assistant-Certified (ABSA).
*Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR experience.
