Must Haves:

• 3+ years experience as a CT Tech
• ARRT certification – will hire without this, but has 12 months to obtain
• CPR certification
• Experience working in an inpatient setting in a hospital

Day to Day:

Under the general supervision of the Manager, produces computerized tomographic Radiographs of designated anatomical areas, as requested, in order to provide the Radiologists with diagnostic information with service excellence.

• Provide computed tomography imaging and patient care services to patients
• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Utilize ALARA principles during examinations.
• Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
• Prepare for and assists the physician in computed tomography procedures, including interventional procedures.
• Perform reconstruction of CT images.
• Prepare and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
