Job Summary

We are seeking a talented individual to join the Consumer Entertainment Product team. This colleague will be responsible for strategies, planning and execution of programming related activities for Xfinity Video customers.

This programming management role is responsible for strategic direction and operational readiness of change activities associated with the addition, changes, and/or removal of linear and streaming content for Xfinity Video tiers of service. This highly visible role requires coordination of critical tasks across many functional areas and stakeholder groups to ensure optimal preparation for programming changes, including caring for frontline readiness, customer impact and communications, and technical readiness.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and strategic input to change approach activities
  • Coordinate operational readiness and change activities associated with programming changes.
  • Drive seamless and timely execution of programming/channel adds, changes, and removals driven by customer needs or contractual obligations across all stakeholder teams.
  • Support execution of pricing strategies associated with related programming changes.
  • Ensure internal and customer-facing tools and systems reflect most up-to date information
  • Facilitate standing calls/forums to provide programming updates, including agenda preparation, tracking action items, and maintaining go-to-market playbooks.
  • Drive data and insight collection to understand impact and performance of relevant changes.
  • Partner with an array of cross functional stakeholder groups, including Content Acquisition, Care, Editorial, Engineering, Entertainment, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Product, Technical Operations, and TPX (Technology, Product, and Experience).
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
  • Due to the nature of programming/network contract negotiations, must be willing and available to work nights and weekends, as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of related experience in product management, business analysis, operations, or a similar role.
  • Telecom, entertainment, technology, or consulting industry experience preferred­­­.
  • Project management and time management skills, capable of handling multiple competing priorities in parallel.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Teams, Word, etc.) and file management platforms such as Smartsheet and SharePoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences and simplify complex or technical information into clear, concise business language/visuals.
  • Proactive working style, including leadership and communication.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility; motivated and committed to excellence; positive attitude and "can do" work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: collaborative, relationship builder, motivates others, promotes teamwork.
