Position: Dye Specialist

Duration: 4-Month Contract, Likelihood to Extend

Location: Cartersville, GA

Pay Rate: $16-18/Hour

Job Description:

One of Insight Global's clients in the Cartersville, GA area is looking for a Dye Specialist to join their team! As a Dye Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of dyed carpets through various stages of the production process. This role requires a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in wet conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and pull wet carpet weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Step up and down on catwalks.
• Stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours per day.
• Work a modified schedule from 4 am to 12 noon.
• Work and walk in puddles of water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thread the sewing machine.
• Line up the seams accurately.
• Adjust water levels as needed.
• Push and pull large becks.
• Work in wet conditions.
• Manage and monitor dyeing processes.
• Ensure samples meet quality standards.
• Safely transfer dyed carpet.
• Maintain cleanliness and efficiency of equipment.
• Identify and address any issues during the dyeing process.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to work in physically demanding and wet conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
